Alpenglow tallow & ghee balm is an extremely versatile product used for anything from a daily moisturizer, to a diaper cream, to rash/eczema cream, and more. The product most frequently picks up on yarrow's earthy scent. Available in 2 oz.
Tallow is at the heart of this product. Rendered to perfection in-house, this nutrient-dense ingredient works harmoniously with your skin to encourage elasticity, hydration, and restore it to its healthy state.
Ghee from organic, A2 milk is included as it’s a highly regarded Ayurvedic skincare ingredient. Similar to tallow, ghee is nutrient-dense, pore friendly for most, and supports the skin with its fatty acid composition. In Ayurveda ghee is remarked as “nectar" and in Sanskrit, ghee is ghrta, derived from ghr, meaning "to shine."
Homegrown calendula is added for its healing and rejuvenating properties. This vibrant flower soothes and nourishes the skin while reducing inflammation, promoting cell regeneration, and gives you a more youthful glow.
Wild yarrow, an "invasive weed" to many, offers a potent yet delicate touch of antimicrobial properties to help encourage wound healing and will leave your skin more evenly toned.
Organic lavender, a soothing and aromatic botanical will leave your skin feeling refreshed and revitalized. Lavender works synergistically with yarrow and calendula to gently restore the skin.
Alaskan beeswax completes each jar. Beeswax shields your skin, giving it an extra layer of protection, while allowing it to "breathe". Beeswax is a humectant, meaning it will help retain moisture leaving your skin soft and supple.

I didn’t think Alpenglow could get any better, but I absolutely love the new formula. It is incredibly smooth and feels like it instantly heals you upon application. The smell is dreamy and I just can’t get enough.
Love the Alpenglow tallow!! I stopped using all skincare products and switch to just water rinses followed with applying alpenglow morning and night and love it.
i love this tallow blend so much. i use it on cuts, burns, rashes… you name it. it works particularly well as an all-healing type of salve for me. i keep one on hand in our herbal cabinet for me + my husband at all times.
I absolutely love using this balm on my face, especially in the winter when everything is super dry and cold. I can't imagine it working on the face for all skin types, but mine seems to love it. I do wish it had a little more scent to it. I will buy it again for sure! It would be nice to see it in some local stores so we don't have to pay shipping though.
I’m in love with alpenglow! I’ve always had dry skin but this keeps my skin so hydrated I use it in the morning and evening before bed and I feel like I always have a nice dewy hydrated glow
